ABOUT ME

Adalynne or Ady Masoud was born and raised in Tampa, FL and started dancing at the age of 2. Throughout her school years, she had an immense amount of love, passion, and work ethic that would get her very far in her career. Now Ady is extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue her studies in New York City.

 

Ady is currently a Senior as a part of the BFA Commercial Dance Program. There, Ady has trained in styles such as: Ballet, Theater, Fosse, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop (House, Popping, Vogue, and Breaking), Tap, Contemporary, and Ballroom. Ady has also had the opportunity to work close with numerous choreographers such as: Al Blackstone, Jillian Meyers, Lauren Gaul, Scott Hislop, Dominic Chaiduang, Scott Jovovich, Katie Walker, Nijawwon Matthews, Jeremy Duvall, Rachel Leigh Dolan, Steven Blandino, Zoje Azeke as well as serve as a Dance Captain to Al Blackstone, Scott Jovovich, and Katie Walker.

With dance, Ady loves to share her knowledge and choreography with those around her. Her initiative is to cultivate the innate quality of artistic expression through movement. She has choreographed numerous pieces for studios, taught at workshops/intensives, choreographed a piece for Pace's Emergence, and Co-Choregraphed for the play Picnic at Pace.

Aside from dance, Ady loves to replenish her soul with activities like journaling, reading, cycling, taking nature walks, cross-stitching, seeing Broadway shows, and trying out new coffee shops.
